Building One Another Up

As we begin to become more alive to the calling of our Lord and to be intentional about living our lives as He did, it is not unusual that the days get tougher rather than easier.

Why?  Because we are beginning to take the words of the Bible passed down from generation to generation seriously.  We begin to realize they are useful, practical and essential to have a fulfilling life.  When this happens, we become a threat to the evil rulers of the unseen world - Satan. He wants to loose nothing.  A spiritual battle ensues .

No fear is needed for the Lord is greater.  God, who lives within us is greater than the powers on this world.  He will be our refuge and our strength.

What is essential to remember in these times, is that we are not in a battle against other people.  We don’t fight “against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” (Eph 6:12)

Let’s not tear each other down but rather build each other up.  Pray for God’s direction and guidance.

Pray for me that I may be bold and courageous to speak His truth, wisdom and compassion in His place and in His timing.
